The TomSystem
Agrifast’s innovative plant clipping system
We recently became the exclusive distributor of Agrifast’s TomSystem in the United States and Canada.
This unique clipping system, which uses galvanized steel clips, replaces traditional crop-supporting methods. Besides reducing plastic waste, its clipping process lowers labor cost per hectare, providing growers with a significant net economic gain.
With the Tomsystem, clipping speed can reach 2,000 plants per hour. The clipping tool also closes in five adjustable positions, allowing for customization based on a crop’s thickness and weight.
VegBed
This growing medium is the first product on the market made from 100% sustainable bamboo fibers. The dense interweave allows for amazing water absorption and a base for root growth, which makes seeding, harvesting and cleaning in your microgreens operation faster and more efficient.
Vegbed’s bamboo fiber is also completely biodegradable and compostable. So there’s no need to send them to a commercial composting facility.
